This section includes a few details about the history of King Edward Avenue and of the King Edward Avenue Task Force. The task force has been in existence since 1986. Long-term president and local resident, Angie Todesco, led the group for over 10 years from the late 1980’s until the year 2000.
Michel Vallée has been the official representative of the task force since that time. The work of the task force during the 1990’s laid the groundwork for removing the trucks on King Edward and beautifying the avenue.
